Terms of Use

Last updated: 1 November 2026 · Applies to the City Pocket apps, website and server.

By using the app you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Personal use

The app is free for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Our compilations belong to us

Some information in the app comes from public government sources. The way we collect, clean, combine, categorise and present it, including the CDC voucher merchant directory (shop names, categories, locations and status notes), carpark rate tables, card petrol savings and patterns learned over time, is our own work and is protected by copyright.

What you may not do

You may not, without our written permission:

Our data carries hidden markers that let us identify copies. We may block access and take legal action against misuse.

Sponsored content, ads and affiliate links

City Pocket is free for users. To keep it free, some screens may show a card marked "Sponsored", in-app advertisements, and links on which we earn a commission when you book or buy (for example flight deals that open on Trip.com). Sponsored cards are always labelled, never change the live information around them, and never affect which bus, car park, clinic or shop the app ranks first. A sponsor's appearance is not our recommendation, and the government agencies whose data we use do not endorse, sponsor or review City Pocket.

Independent, not official

City Pocket is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or representing any Singapore government agency, transport operator, bank, petrol brand, mall, clinic or other business named in the app. Brand and agency names appear only to identify places and services and belong to their owners. Public data is used under the Singapore Open Data Licence and the other licences listed here; "as of" times show when each source last updated.

Health and reminders

The daily reminders (water, meals, medicine, rest) are convenience tools stored on your phone only. They are not medical advice and do not replace instructions from your doctor or pharmacist. Do not rely on them for time-critical medication; a phone can be off, silenced or out of battery.

Driving, crossing to Malaysia and money tools

Jam reports come from other drivers and are unverified. Toll, fuel-rule, exchange-rate, COE, HDB and parking figures are estimates from published sources and can change without notice. Check the official source before you travel, pay or decide.

No guarantees

Timings, prices, rates, discounts and other information can be late, incomplete or wrong, and sources change without notice. Always check the official source before relying on it, especially for safety, money or travel decisions. The app is provided "as is" and, as far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss caused by using it.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
